(╯°□°)╯︵◓...I create images. These are the result of my observations of the visible world and its representations. They combine with a reflection on seeing, painting and image making. My motive is also painting as such. My work is strongly influenced by open questions of how human traces in landscape change over time and how we perceive them. 🖐 🪨In my daily practice, I aim for a similar light-hearted way of thinking as I had as a teenager wandering the streets, seeing everything as another opportunity for discovery. My appraoch is simple: when something excites me, I take it into the studio to play and develop. Similar to the idea of Pokemon.
